What is KundalinI Yoga?

Kundalini Yoga is a form of yoga designed to address the energy centers of the body.  While the practice itself can be physical,  it challenges the mind to expand awareness and promote healing. 

What do I expect?

Classic Kundalini Yoga includes Kyra sets, Meditation, and Mantra. Meditations may include Mantra, Mudra, and or Pranayama.  Mantras are generally in Gurmukhi. 


Sessions begin by tuning in with the Adi Mantra-

ONG NAMO GURU DEV NAMO. This translates to, I bow to the Creative Wisdom, I bow to Divine Teacher within.  Tuning in may also include the Mangala Charan Mantra- Ad Guray Nameh , Sat Guray Nameh, Siri Guru Devay Nameh. This translates to, I bow to the primal wisdom. I bow to the wisdom through the ages, I bow to the true wisdom. I bow to the great unseen wisdom.  

Are other forms of yoga an option?

Yes, I have been trained in Vinyasa yoga, pilates, and somatic healing techniques. If Kundalini Yoga does not feel a fit for you, guided meditation and mindful movement can also be offered. Note, that while sessions are tailored to your needs I tend to teach a more gentle flow, not power yoga.
